Clone an existing site
Clone from a backup file

You can install and clone a WordPress site onto a fresh or already existing installation.

Install WordPress

To install a fresh copy of WordPress on a new site,

1. Enter the website URL
2. Enter the FTP details
   Note: The Website URL should point to the same folder as the FTP installation folder path. The FTP installation folder path is the path to the folder where you want to install WP as shown below when you login to your FTP client with the FTP credentials provided.
3. Enter the details of an existing database (See how to Create a new database)
4. Create the admin credentials
5. You can add the new site to the IWP admin panel by checking the option
6. Hit Install WP

To install a fresh copy of WordPress on an existing site,

1. Select the site in which you want to install WordPress
2. Create the admin credentials
3. Hit Install WP

Clone an existing site

To clone an existing site,

1. Select the site which you want to clone (the source)
2. Select the backup from which you want to create the clone or create a backup now to clone
3. You can clone the site to a fresh site or an existing site (the destination)
1. To clone to a fresh site,
1. Enter the website URL
2. Enter the FTP details
3. Enter the database details (See how to Create a new database)
4. Create the admin credentials
5. You can add the new site to the IWP admin panel by checking the option
6. Hit Clone
2. To clone to an existing site,
1. Select the site in which you want to install WordPress
2. Create the admin credentials
3. Hit Clone

Clone from a backup file

To clone from a backup file,

1. Enter the link to the backup file
2. You can clone the site to a fresh site or an existing site

1. Enter the website URL
2. Enter the FTP details
3. Enter the database details (See how to Create a new database)
4. Create the admin credentials
5. You can add the new site to the IWP admin panel by checking the option
6. Hit Clone

1. Select the site in which you want to install WordPress

3. Hit Clone
